Presented as part of the Virginia Highlands Festival, A Day in Damascus fills the town with outdoor adventures, hands-on workshops, local art, Appalachian food, history tours, family activities, and live entertainment. Visitors can build their own day by exploring events at parks, farms, trails, restaurants, shops, and community spaces throughout Damascus.
From casting a fly rod and learning trail-side bike repairs to painting, tasting local foods, touring historic sites, and enjoying an evening concert, there is something happening for every age and interest.
