Held annually during the Virginia Highlands Festival in Historic Abingdon, Virginia, this highly acclaimed juried show brings together collectors, decorators, historians, and antique lovers for ten days of shopping, learning, and discovery.
Event Overview
A Festival Tradition Filled with History & Character
Located inside the air-conditioned Grand Hall at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, the Antiques & Vintage Show features booths filled with formal and primitive furniture, jewelry, porcelain, china, rugs, vintage clothing, linens, paintings, pottery, collectibles, and more.
For many attendees, the Antiques & Vintage Show is the focal point of the annual Summer Festival experience. Dealers continuously restock inventory throughout the week, making every visit unique and full of new discoveries.
Visitors are encouraged to make a weekend of it and also explore the Abingdon Antiques Trail while visiting the region.

Juried Antiques & Vintage Show

* Show closes at 4:00 PM on Sunday, 8/2
Spend the day browsing booths filled with antiques, collectibles, heirloom-quality pieces, and one-of-a-kind vintage treasures from respected dealers across the region.
Located in the Grand Hall at the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center, the show provides a comfortable indoor shopping experience and is restocked throughout the festival.

2026 Antiques & Collectibles Lecture Series

The Antiques & Vintage Show also features a complimentary educational lecture series with presentations focused on collecting, preservation, design, decorative arts, history, and storytelling through antiques and heirlooms.
All lectures take place at the SVHEC Executive Auditorium.
Silver Lecture | July 27 • 2:00 PM
Learn about the history of silver in jewelry, cutlery, holloware, and flatware while exploring the differences between sterling silver and silver plate, collectible trends, and identifying valuable silver pieces.
Presented by JR Angevine, longtime antiques dealer and exhibitor with stores in Florida and Georgia.
