In their 14th year together, Departure is the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation. Departure replicates the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock super group; Journey. These veteran musicians love what they do and have developed amazing on-stage chemistry. They pride themselves on giving their audience an incredible high-energy, qualitative stage show from start to finish. Dressed in the iconic tuxedo jacket, Depalead vocalist, Brian Williams, has an amazing singing voice, flawlessly matching Steve Perry’s vocal range and on-stage movements.
Departure plays all the hit songs that everyone knows and loves. They perform for 2 hours straight without taking a break to give their audience the true concert experience. From the Edge: Party Rock N Roll with a taste of twisted country! Formed in 2016 out of SWVA, this cover band has been keeping people on the dance floor for years. This is a band that knows how to entertain! Audience members have described From The Edge as excellent musicianship combined with pitch-perfect harmonies, entertaining stage antics, audience participation, upbeat cover songs with catchy lyrics that make people of all ages want to sing along and dance the night away. Their favorite cover song groups include Journey, Fleetwood Mac, a variety of 80s hair bands, Little Big Town, Chris Stapleton, and many other bands from their 300 song catalog. This group is performing at festivals, marinas, clubs, special events, and weddings all over VA, TN, NC, AL, and FL this summer.
