Hosted by the SWVA Cultural Center & Marketplace, Abingdon’s Gingerbread Bake-Off 2024 launches the Holiday season with fun, whimsy, and the opportunity to support our injured communities affected by Hurricane Helene.
Open to ALL....kids, adults, and even teams and families! Display your creativity and Gingerbread House building skills in this new event presented by the Virginia Highlands Festival and hosted by the SWVA Cultural Center & Marketplace.
Three Categories Offered:
Youth (11-17 years) -- kits OR scratch (bonus points for scratch)
Adult (18 & up) -- scratch only
Teams & Families -- kits or scratch (bonus points for scratch)
Entries accepted at SWVA Cultural Center & Marketplace
Sunday, 11/17, 1-4pm
Monday - Thursday, 11/18 to 11/21, 10am-6pm
~ Public Exhibit opens Sunday, 11/24 through Saturday, 12/7 subject to Cultural Center hours.
~ All submissions become part of a silent auction with proceeds designated to Disaster Relief.
~ All submissions subject to Rules & Guidelines as outlined in provided document.
