Description: Kayaking on the lake, a bird walk, a "creek crawl", a talk on mammals, hiking on your own or with a group, swimming in the lake, and a picnic lunch--spend a day at this park near Marion.
Details: Besides birds and mammals, there are more unique organisms hiding in Hungry Mother's creek. Join an interpreter to explore the benthic organisms hiding under rocks and learn what they can tell us about the water in the park. Wear clothing you don't mind getting wet and closed-toed shoes.
