Writers’ Day includes workshops that center around "writing from the heart using family and a sense of place in writing poetry, drama, and fiction."

Presenters include Amy Greene (author of Bloodroot ); poet, Rita Quillen; playwright, Catherine Bush; Illustrator/author, Charles Vess; and Barbara Bates Smith.
