At this event for the whole family, the Abingdon Muster Grounds will come alive. Demonstrators will present life in the Backcountry of Virginia during Colonial times. The W. Blair Keller Interpretive Center Will be open to highlight the importance of the Washington County, Virginia militia and the Revolutionary War Battle of Kings Mountain, 1780. Participants come from the members of the Overmountain Victory Trail Association, Blacks Fort DAR Chapter, General William Campbell SAR Chapter, and Abingdon Muster Grounds C.A.R. Society.
